BROOKLYN, NY - SEC Player of the Year Johni Broome has been selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the fifth pick in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft.
The Tigers' forward averaged 18.6 points and 10.8 rebounds during the 2024-25 season, leading Auburn to the Final Four.
The Sporting News named the big man the National College Player of the Year in March.
Broome, who started his career at Morehead State, played three seasons under Bruce Pearl on the Plains -- reaching the NCAA Tournament every year.
